Lee Waterhouse began his career in the remedial property works sector over 20 years ago, starting as a clean and clear removal operative. In those early years, he carried out domestic removals and VOID property clearances, gaining valuable hands-on experience. Through hard work and dedication, Lee progressed to the role of Operations Manager, where he spent several years overseeing mould removal projects. He managed multiple teams of operatives and regularly liaised with customers, councils, and housing associations to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.

While Lee took great pride in his work, he often felt that something was missing—particularly when it came to long-term customer satisfaction. He recognised that simply removing mould wasn’t enough; the root causes needed to be identified and addressed to prevent it from returning. This insight led him to envision a more comprehensive, customer-focused service—one that not only removed mould but also diagnosed underlying issues and offered targeted solutions to correct them.

This vision became the foundation of The Mould Company, and under Lee’s leadership, it continues to grow—driven by a commitment to quality, integrity, and long-lasting results for every client.

With over 15 years of experience in the mould remediation sector, he brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise to every project. Lee is passionate about delivering high-quality, long-lasting results for clients and is committed to raising industry standards. His leadership, attention to detail, and customer-first approach have been key to the company’s growth and success.

Catherine brings a strong background in sales and customer service to The Mould Company, with several years of experience leading teams in the renewable energy sector. Before joining us, she was a team leader at one of the UK’s largest PV (solar panel) suppliers, where she developed a reputation for delivering excellent customer care and driving team performance.

At The Mould Company, Catherine ensures every client receives clear communication, prompt support, and a smooth service from start to finish. Her friendly, professional approach helps make our customers feel valued and well looked after at every stage of their journey with us.

Business Development Manager
Phil Storey

Phil has over 10 years of experience in the mould remediation sector and has built a reputation for forming strong, lasting relationships with clients. Since joining The Mould Company, he has been a driving force behind our expansion, playing a key role in identifying new opportunities and helping the business grow.

As Business Development Manager, Phil is focused on taking TMC to the next level—whether that’s through building new partnerships, expanding our service offerings, or entering new markets. His passion for growth, combined with his deep industry knowledge, makes him a vital part of our future.

HR & Marketing Manager 
Danielle Heap

Danielle brings a strong background in customer service and a keen eye for detail to her role at The Mould Company. With experience across a range of customer-focused environments, she excels at understanding client needs and ensuring our brand is represented with clarity and professionalism.

As HR & Marketing Manager, Danielle leads our marketing efforts in collaboration with the Business Development Manager, helping to grow awareness of TMC and reach new audiences. She is also currently undertaking a formal HR qualification to further enhance her skills and support the development of our team. Her drive, creativity, and commitment make her an invaluable part of the company’s ongoing success.

Customer Account Manager
Zoe Johnson

Zoe has a wealth of experience in account management, customer service, and maintenance planning within the building and insurance sectors. Before joining The Mould Company, she worked on property subsidence insurance claims, gaining a strong understanding of property maintenance and customer care.

Since joining TMC nearly 12 months ago, Zoe has become a key point of contact for one of our largest council clients. She works closely with housing officers and inspectors to coordinate and complete a high volume of remedial works, ensuring everything runs smoothly from initial instruction through to completion. Her organisation, communication skills, and client-focused approach make her an essential part of our team.

Administration Assistant
Ruby Lowther

Ruby joined The Mould Company nearly 12 months ago as an apprentice, fresh from college and eager to learn. Since then, she has successfully completed her apprenticeship, earning certifications in Microsoft Office programs, time management, and effective communication within an organisation.

Ruby now works closely alongside our Customer Relations Manager, Catherine, assisting with scheduling inspections and handling incoming customer enquiries. Her positive attitude, growing skillset, and willingness to take on new challenges make her a valued member of the team and a great support to both colleagues and customers
